Intresting idea. As it is now the more comon things are in the FAQ. For your game you may wanna check this out:

http://rentals.nuclearfallout.net/rent. ... ral-bf1942

Anything else just use the search feature and see if it turns up anything and if not just ask. :)

What you're talking about sounds like the way the comunity forums are set up.

http://forums.nuclearfallout.net

The rental forums are split into rental owners discussion (for server admins to trade ideas and such) and support (for issues needing help from support staff) with a general section for everything else. A change like you're talking about would need to split both support and rental owners forums into groups I would think or people would find themselves looking through even more than they are now, and if thats done things would be kinda spread all over the place.

Its worth thinking about but the current layout has worked for some time.

you're right, theres been an explosion in the gaming world over the past few years. organizing the support forums by game might be a good idea.

Well http://forums.nuclearfallout.net are our community forums. These forums are separate, designed for the our server rentals that need assistance with their server.

One last Idea that might be considered...
I have seen this done for BF 1942 and BF Veitnam...
Its a Game changer not sure how it works but you can have BF 1942 and BF veitnam on one server just by adding a named file in a directory.. of course
only one game on a server at one time but nice feature..
it could help in rental sales for those that are into BF games..

We've looked into that for some games/mods and have used it to a limited extent actualy. Good idea though and it may happen down the road.

Over the years we've only had a couple of people request a mod changer feature. It's not really something that has been worth the effort for us, imo. We'd also have to adjust our prices upward to accomodate it, which I'm not in favor of.
