Test Servers

We played with several of us on one of the NFO servers, and it played smooth.
But it crashed at 7:26pm est, and looking, all the NFO servers were down at the same time.

I added the only 4 NFO servers I could find as favorites and they were all offline when I checked.

All the servers were restarted at that time to apply the latest BF3 version. I meant to do this as a rolling release that affected servers as they emptied out, but I typed the wrong option. That's something I've never done before and will be careful about never repeating .

In this case, we were required to roll out that new version ASAP anyhow, though.

It looks like this new version has a bug that's cropping up sometimes, related to end-of-round hanging. I hope DICE fixes it quickly.

Haven't noticed hanging, but game closing at round end.

On the server side, that's probably being seen as hanging. Servers also drop off the list when this happens.

I'll have to roll back the servers tomorrow morning, or apply an update, if they give us one.

I'm just glad they're doing a beta - to work out all of these issue prior to full blown release.

Game is fun though.

Are the servers being updated? Seems no servers are available.

Just curious if an update is being applied or the MBS is down.

Servers seem to be up to me. Make sure your filters are set correctly.

No they were all down for everyone.
They came back up a while ago.

They've been having a lot of problems with battlelog today.

Was playing on a NFO server tonight - I think it was DAL #10. Spawning under the map, etc. It had a 30 second countdown once the game started - I thought the patched servers dropped the countdown to 10 seconds?

That's odd. I'll run a repair to make sure it's running the latest version (all of ours should have been).
