Battlefield 4 Servers ETA

Post by jkinggng »

Hi, a committed NFO customer for life here, coming back from a long hiatus having been out of the loops for awhile, I'm wanting to know when we may see servers come available here, thanks.

We don't have any ETA on server availability just yet, but we'll be sure to make an announcement on our news feed, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter accounts when we're up and running. We're looking forward to the new game. :)

Thanks Spray, I'm hopeful that with a game release of Oct. 29th that we may see servers in the not so distant future :)

They will probably have beta servers up and running like BF3 for stress testing.

Then pre-order shortly before release date so everything is in place.

Gaming Deluxe - one of the major hosting companies for BF3 based in the UK - is saying that they are not on the RSP list for BF4. They are reporting that the RSP list is "... a very short list".

I don't know if this is something specific to Gaming Deluxe or they are paring back the list of BF4 RSPs.

Can you confirm yet that NFO is on the RSP list for BF4?

I'm actually curious on this as well. It's only rumors at this point with the main origin seeming to be from Gaming Deluxe and some one else with DICE approved dog tags.

Long as EA doesn't sellout to one GSP like what happened to CoD:BlackOps.

I wouldn't believe that NFO isn't on the list for BF4 servers, any other server host in the country(USA) doesn't even come close to this company.

I'm pretty sure NFO will be a Trusted RSP for Battlefield 4. I don't know the reputation of Gaming Deluxe but if they weren't chosen by DICE/EA to be an RSP it may be because they aren't all that reputable and/or have been discovered to have breached some terms of service or agreement before? Just spitballing some possibilities there... Who knows, they may have even jumped the gun in telling their customers that they won't be receiving BF4 hosting capabilities from DICE/EA. It may just be a matter of process and time, right?

Anything is possible. If I remember correctly, NFO didnt make the RSP list for Battlefield Heroes or one of the EA ranked titles. Or maybe it was the F2P Battlefield. One thing you can surely count on, is for EA to make stupid decisions.

I would like to see some of the "budget" BF3 hosts go away, too many times I've joined a laggy BF3 server(i am very picky about laggy servers). If NFO isn't a RSP for BF4, that will pretty much kill the game for me, just like black ops.
