Well I don't want to toot my own horn but I started out with NFO and I was very very pleased.

My clan and server was extremely successful and we ranked in the top 10 CZ servers in the world consistently for about 18 straight weeks.

At one point I noticed a lot of visual lag on the maps Inferno and Aztec. For whatever reason these maps require a high amount of CPU usage.

With all the traffic on my server and the lag serioulsy affecting gameplay on 2 of our favorite maps I decided to leave and go with another company.

If you are interested in the other company names just hit me up and I'll tell you, I won't bash them publicly.

So the long and short of it over the course of a year.

Started at NFO.
Went to another company....started to lag too.
Got a dedicated box, went well but it offered no support. Major headaches.

Went to another company and got a dedicated box that could have launched the damn space shuttle. Once again the lag issue started to pop up from time to time.

The server I had was in Dallas as is the one if have with NFO. I don't know who they pipe through but I get the best pings out of NFO Dallas.

Back to the issue of NFO and why I originally left. There was an issue with load balancing the machines and how my server wasn't set properly or something to that effect. NFO didn't anticipate the amount of traffice that CAL and CZL would generate.

I believe they fixed it in a couple of days but by then I had already left, I'm a bit impatient.

So I started at NFO on October 26th of last year, here I am back on October 3 of this year.

Take it from me, an admin/founder that dragged all of his players through about 4 server changes and a ton of IPs.

You may find a cheaper price out there, you may find some promises of a snazzier control panel.

Don't waste you damn time of shopping around and/or breaking contracts with other companies.

Nuclearfallout offers the best servers in the business. The prices are not only reasonable but you alwasy do get what you pay for.

You could be a complete moron and you could figure out how to run a server with their easy setup control panel.

As for customizing plugins and fun technical stuff that a newbie might not get, Nick, Booya, Time-x, To-Mas are all guys that have walked me through everything in IRC.

To sound a bit fatherly, take it from my experience and mistakes of the past. Get your server here and save yourself a ton of headaches.
