Creating a VPN shouldn't be an issue.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point

I truly don't know if it would work for Xbox live, that depends on your setup and what you're trying to do. We aren't blocking any ports on our end, so there isn't anything to open.

ok that sounds good.

I intend on connecting to the vpn via my PC

and sharing the connection with the xbox.

The ports are like DMZ+ mode correct?

Or not blocked? if so, I believe that xbl shouldn't be an issue.

The only issue that could arise would be mtu,

which has to be 1500 or above

is there any way i could get a test run on the vps?

If you are a new customer and haven't yet purchased anything from NFO, they will give you a free 2 day trial on it automatically when you go to order. What tool were you planning on using for the VPN?

Isn't that a contradiction?
We aren't blocking any ports and there isn't anything open.

Must be fat finger syndrome. lol

It's not that there isn't anything open, but that there isn't anything TO open.
