for some reason my banned_ip.cfg file keeps getting wiped out. Any idea?

Do you have "writeip" in your server.cfg file? If so, and it's before the "exec banned_ip.cfg" line, that could cause problems. It also causes problems for it to be too close to the exec line, even if it's listed after it.

Thanks, I have them widely separated, but when looking closer I had banned_user, but not banned_ip in the cfg.

Got it working now.
