could i get the sale price by choosing price order and then getting the 16 man pub LA optmized and choosing this is an change to my old server so i could just keep the old ip

Changing from hybrid to optimized will result in change of IP address.

If you read our front page where the sale is located, you can read the following:

(This price is also so low that we can't offer it on current servers, just new ones, meaning existing customers can't apply the new pricing to their current servers.)

Yeah I also had a question on that as well.

I understand that the sale applies only to new servers.

I had emailed with some questions about this, but I wasn't really sure how to word it.

For existing customers it seems like the prices have gone up from how they were before for many of the locations, and again this is just for existing customers, not new ones.

One thing I am confused about is that if you already have a server, why is it that hybrid bandwidth with all other things being constant is 10 dollars more than optimized bandwidth?

I'm pretty sure they aren't offering the sale for hybrid, two reasons below:

1) If you look where the number of slots are, and you select New York City (just a example) it was say Special Price next to the 16 slots, however if you select LA Hybrid, it doesn't say it.

2) If you look what they say on the front page below, you will see they don't say anything about a hybrid sale.

That's right, at our InterNAP and Optimized locations right now you can get a 16-player server for what a 12-player costs

No I'm talking about prices for existing customers, not new ones. My understanding is that sale prices apply only to new servers as it says on the site.

We recently had to raise our prices for CS:S specifically due to the extra CPU usage it generates.
