There is no public documentation for Warfighter yet, and the private documentation is honestly pretty bad right now -- using what I've written in the KB and on the Easy setup page and combining it with the output from "admin.help" would be the best way to go currently.

In-game commands can't work due to the MoHW bugs, though.

Thank goodness. I thought I was losing my mind or something. So atm there is no good way to actually admin our servers. Gotta love EA! Dont see any third party support anytime soon. :roll:

So, banners dont work. In game scrolling messages dont work. In game admin commands dont work. No good way to advertise your server forums on the server then. A large part of the players are form the damn match making system. 8O

Be glad matchmaking isn't broken, also. :(

Adminning the servers is possible, but you have to alt-tab out and use a tool (like the rcon tool on our "Server control" page).

I've communicated all of the bugs I've found to DICE, as well. I expect for them to address at least some of these in the next server update (not today's/tonight's).

the ingame admin from the control panel interferes with the insane limits and procon rules plugins

let me explain

i have proconrulz plugin running if I type in !rules
it displays the rules i have set then at the end it displays
'rules' is an invalid command

if i turn off the ingame admin via the control panel
i do not get this
it would be nice to use the ingame admin however until this is corrected i have turned this off

This is not a bug. The admin daemon is designed to respond when an invalid command is entered.

the command isnt invalid,
it does work as designed but after it scrolls the rules or messages i have set up, it then returns that the command is invalid
perhaps you can look into commenting that line out of the code and not having it return that message on screen, maybe make a log of it or something

Yes, but the command is invalid for the admin daemon. The admin daemon doesn't know you are running Procon with a rules plugin.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Shadow2k1, here is what is happening:

Both programs are listening to the rcon output of your server, looking for stats, chat, commands etc...

You type in !rules in chat.

Procon sees in RCON that a command was typed, it checks to see if that is a valid command (It is for Procon) and you get the output from the Procon rules plugin.

The NFO admin daemon also sees that same command that was typed. It checks to see if it is a valid command (it's not in this case) and responds with "Invalid Command" response.

The two programs are acting independently on your input, both as intended.

I do not see the list of commands in my Easy Setup tab in the control panel, nor do I see a way to set which commands a specific user can execute. I can activate the daemon, add users, and set up a recurring message, but no command list or admin attributes.

I think I may be blind?

This is for a BF4 server, btw.

Next to the list of admins you add in the admin daemon section, there's a little down-facing arrow that you can click on. Clicking on that shows the commands that a user would have access to.
