Post by marcus1810 »

Hi

I just moved my site from the old host to the nfo host. i have some problems where some of the pages doesnt work, and i went to the joomla forum to ask for help. here is the thread: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=706&t=881662

They gave me the answere “you must ask Your New host about rewrite rules on their server. they can help you”

Any help?

You're the "host" in this case, so that guy's answer is not useful to you :). The Apache configuration is entirely yours and you control the rewrite rules and all other software on your VDS.

I'm not familiar with joomla myself, but someone else might be able to chime in here, or there.

Sorry if this is late. If Joomla works similar to wordpress, would need to export your database from your old database and import it over to your new database.
