Hello.
I am trying to run a pre-built web application found at http://coderflow.co.uk/source/ and one of the installation steps asks me to "Obfuscate hexadecimal memory addresses 0xFF0FFFF to 0xFFFFFFF - It is very important you do this." I attempted to google the step and got nothing of use in return.
I wanted to know if any of you have had this problem before or if you had a solution.
I am running Ubuntu 12.04x64-LTS on a Single Core VPS, if that makes a difference. I have installed LAMP.
Thank you,
Pie

Re: Obfuscate hexadecimal memory addresses?
I have never heard that before. The authors of this document would have to explain what it means, because it's so unusual and vague (what memory is it talking about? what does it mean by "obfuscate"? why is this important?).
Re: Obfuscate hexadecimal memory addresses?
I think it's just Vrondakis joking around. A sort of sarcastic way of saying he doesn't actually want anyone to use his code.
