Fast Downloads from vps

I have a vps with multiple ip's. Could I configure the fastdl's to direct to one of the ip's that I am not using as a game server? If so, what would the url look like?

As long as you have a web server configured to respond at that IP, you should be able to, yes. You can also use the same IP as the game server, since it's not a logistical problem to run a webserver on its same IP (they don't have overlapping port requirements).

So the simple solution would be to install a webserver on my vps to handle the fastdl request?

Yes. You would need to point it at a folder that contains a directory structure of custom files mirroring what you put on your game server.

Alternately, you can add unlimited webhosting here to your package, by adjusting it through the VDS order page, and then use that for fast downloads.
