for some reason my VDS at the dallas datacenter is not able to connect to www.serverdoc.com to recieve updates for the server restart program serverdoc, it is able to trace it back to the correct IP 96.228.176.149 but it fails all pings sent to it.
any assistance with this please?

Not sure if this would happen, but when I try to access that site from here, I get a warning that this site is a dangerous site to visit, according to McAfee. Any chance you have any safety programs running that may block the access? It's probably a false warning, but it blocks access none the less.

We don't block 96.228.176.149 on our end, as far as I can tell. If you open up a support request, I can check on your machine more specifically.
