bandwidth monitor/meter (windows)

Post by island55 »

hello,

i'm in need of a bandwidth monitor or meter, for my windows server 2008 r2 vps... i'd just like a program that visually shows me the current incoming/outgoing bandwidth usage by speed. whether it be a graph or just numbers.

i've used the task manager network tab however i'd like something a bit better, this only shows me a graph with no actual numbers. i'd like to know the exact incoming/outgoing usage.

thanks guys!

Windows performance monitor is available under the system tools. Works fine and can be customized to display nearly anything that you want to.

What trouble are you having with it? I do not personally use it but my roomate does and he likes it quite a bit.

Have you tried adding it to your PC before you added it to your VDS to see if it will run from there? If it does then that is a good starting point to see why it may not be running on the VDS.

My personal Favorite: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Network-To ... eter.shtml

Takes some setting changes to get it the way I like, but after you can see daily/weekly/monthly usage and even projected usage based on your current usage.
