Creating a mysql database for web to game

If anyone can help me out with setting up a mysql database to my csgo game server that would be great. I currently have no idea and am confused beyond belief when looking at this page.

You need to edit database.cfg with the appropriate information. Beside that, if you want to install web interface then you also need to upload the files to your web server directory.

Ugh after hours of trying to get this set up i failed. I feel like i'm really close but i'm obviously doing something wron

Please don't think me being harsh or anything, but you are not supposed to run game servers on webhosting servers. Upgrade to VDS and then you can have both your game and your website server on the same machine. On the other hand of course you can order a csgo server from nfoservers at this url. Then they will set it up for you, and all the setup you have to do are the server's properties, like whitelists if csgo has them. Otherwise, I haven't tried setting up a csgo server or seen the types of files.

What makes you think he is trying to setup a game server on the web hosting?

In fact, it would be impossible because the web hosting terminates active processes after about 90 seconds.
