Finding Server IP
Hello all! Forgive me for being the ultimate of "noob" on this forum, but I do have a quick question. I'm on the lite package of webhosting. How would I find the IP address of my server? Thanks in advance!
Why do you have to put your two cents in? It's only a penny for your thoughts. Where's that extra penny going to?
Re: Finding Server IP
You can use something like a hostname resolver to do so.

You could also ping the address in command prompt, which is reveal the Ip address.

Re: Finding Server IP
Thanks! I guess I should have clarified. Is that a static or dynamic address? Also, how do I control the location that I'm hosted at? Is there control there?

Re: Finding Server IP
It's a static IP address and the location of websites cannot be changed, all websites are currently hosted in Seattle.
