Paypal delays

As often as every couple of weeks, Paypal notifications are noticably delayed. It looks like it's happening today, and it happened yesterday. Unfortunately what this means is that new servers can't be set up within 1-2 minutes of the new subscription signup as they usually are -- our systems are having to wait as long as a couple of hours before Paypal sends us notification of the signup.

These delays in server creation are unacceptable, but unfortunately they are also unavoidable. The problem is with Paypal, and Paypal is in a permanent state of "working on the problem," so we don't know when it will be fixed.

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience.

Again 27 January 2005, and so far continuing through January 30. Sometimes we're not even getting notifications at all. This is a serious problem on Paypal's side.

It looks like Paypal's notifications have stopped completely again today, March 26.
