The BFBC2 beta is out!

If you have a beta key from preordering the game, you can grab a copy of the BFBC2 beta client from us. If our download site is swamped, you can also get it through bittorrent.

In your game browser, you'll see over 30 beta servers that we've already put online (with more to come). Let us know how they work for you, and we'll use that to tweak them and provide feedback to DICE on how to improve the server further!

Edit: The servers are pretty unstable right now, due to bugs in the server code. DICE is working on these bugs. We're not too surprised, since it is a beta, after all.

It's overwhelmed right now, so I'd recommend trying the torrent, if you can.

Hey, great news to hear nfo will have servers! I was just wondering if we're going to be able to run this off of our current full machine from you guys; and if we can, will it be a ranked server? If the answer is no to all of those questions, would we be able to get it under some kind of special so we can have a 32 player ranked server?

Right now they're not letting any GSPs give the files to dedicated servers / virtual servers, but that could change, and I'll let you guys know if it does. I still don't have a good idea of how we'll have to do the pricing for this -- I should know within a few days.
