Refunds
I just wanted to reiterate our policy on refunds because we have been getting some refund requests lately.
Our policy is no refunds. The trial period is for testing the server, and it's free -- after that we do not provide refunds, period. We say this in the original rental request reply, in the FAQs, and in the TOS. There is only one instance where we would provide a prorated refund, and we go over that in the TOS.
If you are planning to cancel, you must cancel in paypal, in addition to the other steps we outline in the TOS. If you forget, you will be charged again the next month, and we will not refund it. It's very simple, and very avoidable.

I have heard of a few customer having subscription cancellation issues. I want to clarify a few things about PayPal subscriptions. Once a subscription is established it will continue to transfer funds into the sellers account after the service has been terminated. This is somthing that must be corrected by the purchaser.
I recently had to cancell a server do to financial issues of my own making. I found it to confusing at first but nothing a quick trip to the PayPal Help section did not correct. I hope you found the links below as useful as I did.

We have also been including this line in server rental request emails for many months now:
"Please keep in mind that the paypal link below is a subscription link. You will be billed automatically every month until you cancel. Also keep in mind that we do not provide refunds past the initial trial period."
So, everyone knows that it is recurring before they click the paypal link.

It's crazy how fast clans get created and break up in the gaming world.
Every time we get asked how to cancel in paypal through email, we copy and paste the official procedure to the renter. We've been doing that for at least a year now.
This is the same procedure that Paypal will tell you if you ask them through email.

The big thing about user accounts is that they make it easier to manage multiple servers, since all the servers show up on the left-hand side and you can change between them at will. It also makes it easier on our helpers since it will allow us to give them priveleges to all servers. And it means that renters can more readily add priveleges for other users to access their server.
It's all about adding features to make it easier on customers.
