New version of ProCon:
it is not just some patch, but a version you should download manually and separately.
1.1.0.1
i have been connecting to my bf3 server using this new version. the old version wont connect.
there are many limitations and practically non of the plugins work right now, or the map tab.
but is a good first day rcon for ban, kick, map list server settings stuff.
much better than when HF came out :-p

Maybe Im doing something wrong. I have the new version, deleted the old

I go to add a new connection, type in the ip
Add the port
and put in the pw, gives me "connection error, no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

Iv tried putting in the ip, and the (yourservername).game.nfoservers.com
same thing. Ideas?

Are you sure you have the correct port in there of 47200?

I am unable to connect to procon. I enter all my information properly and it just sits as if it was "connecting"

I tried both the "hostname" and the plain IP - using port 47200 - no luck. Sits there for about 5 minutes than times out.

Doesn't sound stupid, but I did try that :P

Rcon is entered correctly, and like I had mentioned, I tried both the hostname and plain IP - neither worked.

Make sure you type the password...I was pasting it and it wouldn't work.

Tried it again, no luck. I reset our servers files to default, I shut the server down for 5 minutes, rebooted everything, and Im back to square one with no connection being established.

The little icon indicating "connecting..." (little circular-type thing) is just spinning over and over, and it says 0/64 slots used. I typed everything in by hand nothing was copy pasted.

I also tried re-downloading ProCon, and Im getting the same issue.

I would hold off from using Procon until they've sorted all the bugs. I'll be using the NFO admin tools until Procon and BF3 are stable.

A little tip with Procon,

I have Procon hosted on my unmanaged server and it's connected.
My Procon on my computer does exactly as you described trying to connect to my hosted Procon.
It spins trying to connect forever.

What I have found that works, is to Open Procon and click on connect and you will see it spin. After 10-15 secs, hit disconnect, and then connect again. It should connect within 5-10 secs. I have been doing this for the past few days with success.

Seems to be a bug when connecting on the first attempt.

Can anyone confirm if the ProCon tool can kick/ban players without the server crashing?
