Welcome to the club. I went from four top 100 gametracker servers to dead/empty servers.

They'll generally stay empty now unless you have guys in there seeding them (or take other steps to fill them). This is because there are so many servers than players to fill them, with more servers put up all the time.

Hey! Remember when I said my server was up for 60 hours straight before it crashed? ^^^^^

Well, look at this graph! We've had 4 crashes within a 24 hour period! WTF?! This is pretty damn lame!

So any solid solutions or still just speculation on the causes?

our server will be full and will crash every night around 3am-4am. populating these servers is not always so easy and when you finally get one full and going, you feel pretty good about it. these crashes make me sad, everyday at relatively the same time it will crash.

i dont think harassing the support staff every night after a crash is worth wasting their time. no one seems to have a solid understanding about what is causing this...

i feel like eventually people will favorite our server so they know not to join it. people learn to avoid those servers that are known to always crash.
but right now... is it about 80% of the servers out there are crashing on a daily bases?

could this be Procon related?
rcon tools in the past have been know to conflict and crash servers. is this a possible BF3 experience as well? is everyone here that has crashing problems using Procon?
just some thoughts

I'm using Procon and now since early this morning, ala 3am or so the server crashes about every few minutes or so it seems. I cannot connect via Procon to my 64 player server as it's being rejected. However I connect fine to my private server. I don't believe it's plugin related as all was fine leading up to this point.

Every few minutes would be unusual. Have you tried shutting it down for a little while, then starting it back up again? That sounds like a Blaze issue.

We have had this at times too, and restarting our VDS that hosts our hosted Procon usually fixes it.

It is ridicules the amount of effort we have to put in populating servers, because fucking EA releases half-baked product.

It is harder and harder get our server populated. In the first week it took us 15 minutes to recover from crash to 64 players. Now it takes hours, and when we have 64 players it crashes.

this is my week's graph.

The crashes are very rough, and I agree that it is particularly frustrating that they occur more often with 64-slot servers. I very much look forward to the upcoming crash fixes in R9.

We have been trying to get up and going since that day and it no longer gets past 20 people, and i haven't seen any of our regular players anymore and the ones that have come back keep telling me they thought it was offline because it no longer shows in their favorites.

If you reset the server guid, it won't be recognized in your favorites anymore.
Favorite servers are saved with server guid.
