Actually I did mean 8, I've been running my server as follows.

*Setup vars.roundStartPlayerCount 4 disable idle
*When more than 8 people join I set vars.roundStartPlayerCount 8 and enable idle kicker through procon as it has a better system for kicking idlers.

You need to have vars.roundStartPlayerCount set to 8 for quick match, which seems to keep new players coming into my server. I'm going to be setting up B3 + stats to see how many new players I get a day.

Quickmatch works with vars.roundStartPlayerCount set to less than 8 and always has :).

Anyone have any ideas as to why server disappears from Battlelog after R9?
It reappears after restart or map change.

MyOdessa, that's a bug with Battlelog right now and seems to happen randomly. EA/DICE is looking into it.

Thank you, John. Does Battlelog stops polling empty servers? Any idea on ETA for fix?

That doesn't seem to be what it is. EA/DICE is still looking into it and has not yet given us an ETA.

there can be players on the server when it goes missing... hope stats are being recorded.

another typical EA rollout, patches break other things and the patches to fix those things break the original problem again ... "circle of EA"

Reading through that document, you can no longer set passwords on your server if its ranked. Passworded servers are only available on unranked servers.

I also see that they've possible changed the ticket count.

vars.gameModeCounter – controls the number of tickets required to end round (100% = normal).

They've also crossed out the quickmatch table.

GitSum, I try to keep the KB article link up to date on that and have updated it for R9.

I've also updated the article on Hardcore/Infantry modes now.

R9 update did nothing for servers! Our 64 player continues to crash after about a hour! 32 has no problems! Pretty sad!

do we know if the new hard coded player limits effects quick match at all. I do understand why they hard coded it the way they tried to. I just wanted to ask to make sure though.
