Our BF3 server after R9

Post by Colt »

We typically start up in the AM and go full until 1-4 AM. Today was the first day she cranked up and stayed full - and are currently still full.

Thanks for all your support NFO. Pretty Work Boys & Girls !

We are still hardly getting people. Tried the auto-increment, didn't seem to help. Seems that using the NFO map utility to create a map list for mixed mode isn't working very well either.

Brutus, the game itself also supports mixed modes, if you'd prefer to go that route. Since Battlelog shows the mapcycle, and our map cycler does things in such a way that only the next map is displayed, there is some advantage to doing it (we may change this in the future to be more compatible). Our utility is mainly useful if you want random maps right now.

We can't keep our server full through the night, I don't know if we're getting anyone from quickmatch or through the server browser.

Thanks. I wanted to use your map rotation so we could have 48 player rush, which I didn't think you could do using their maplist.

GitSum, that document is wrong. Rush supports up to 64 players, but the limit shows as 32 in server queries when you set vars.maxPlayers to 64. Battlelog uses the correct limit.

I don't know why that is. TDM is the same way, supporting up to 32 but only showing as up to 24 in server queries.

We have only been able to get 24 in TDM on our server.
Not sure why is stops others from joining.
Yet it shows 24/32, and people trying to join, they can't.

Have you tried manually setting vars.maxPlayers to 32? There's some quirkiness to how the game works with that setting.
