GitSum, globel I will work on that, thanks for the input. I have been banning now by PB GUID so hopefully things will be more stable.

The admin daemon here has always banned through PB and for part of the time it also banned through the game. I changed it back to only using PB yesterday, until they fix this, so feel free to use the !ban command. (Note that our admin daemon never executes banList.list, so it wasn't affected by this bug anyhow.)

If it weren't for this banList.list issue, regular game bans would work just fine, as long as they're done by GUID.

You're better off doing something like streaming GGC bans. They don't store a file on your server, so the file size should never be an issue.

I may go this route, man trying to get PBBans to answer emails or get in contact with them is like pulling teeth for cryin' out loud, it's akin to joining a country club :P

Another one you can join is http://www.anticheatinc.net/
They are a bit smaller group.

You don't have to join.
You can immediately setup streaming.
You have to copy over their banlist manually and update it on your own.
You then help create backgrounds for your players from streaming which you can later do background checks in their database. http://history.anticheatinc.com/bf3/

I stream to them and pbbans
