Where To Go For Support

Post by .=QUACK=.Major.Pain »

Where do you get support for this shit game?

Spent 2 hours on support with EA, and they are telling me it's a Dice issue.

Everytime an update comes out, Origin crashes at 99% and can never update the game.
Posting on BF3 forums doesn't help either. I see people who posted months ago with the same problem, and no one bothers to reply.

Would be nice to play a game we paid for, but these idiots choose not to provide any support.

I am assuming when you log in to Orgin it throws you an error? If so I am not sure :/ It did to do me but I just re-logged in and it worked.

You may be able to backup your game install files and just re-install Orgin.

I can open Origin, and it tells me the bf3 update is 99% downloaded.
Resume download and it pops up an error that an update file may already be in use, to restart and resume update.

I have restarted several times and same issue. EA support got me to do a clean boot, and try again, with same error. We cancelled the download and started it over with the same results at 99%. Right click Origin and BF3 and run as administrator, and get same error.

They eventually after 2 hours said DICE is already aware of this and are investigating. This has been happening since the first update, so I would think it would have been fixed by now.

My only solution is to delete the game and delete the BF3 folder completely and reinstall the game, which takes 6-7 hours.

Worst solution ever.

It would be nice to get DICE support since EA takes no responsibilty and totally blames DICE.

Guessing there is no support anywhere from DICE for us to go to?

This shit game has cost me $300-400 now. The purchase price plus the extra $50 in exceeded monthly bandwidth cap from my ISP for every shitty update they come out with.

DICE is run by a bunch of assholes.

I believe that DICE monitors the EA UK forums to some extent and you may be able to receive some help from them there. I do not know of another place to reach them.
