Reserved Slots Working

Post by .=QUACK=.Major.Pain »

Apparently the reserved slots are working, but it's not official yet. They don't apparently want the word out yet as they are still working on it and fixing any bug issues.

But who wants to wait? lol
If you enter it in console use this line (without vars.):
reservedSlotsList.aggressiveJoin true

If you add it to your startup.txt use:
vars.reservedSlotsList.aggressiveJoin true
Take your chances I guess, but people have already enabled it and say it's working.

Note there is a delay once you join the queue, so be patient for it to kick in.

DICE has told us that they're not working yet globally. They are only testing with a few select servers.

Someone mentioned that putting it in the startup.txt doesn't work, but using the command in console does. It seems to be recognized giving an OK when entered.

Don't have a full server to test it.

I have a full server to test on, however when I run the command through console - It returns "UnknownCommand"

Code: Select all

reservedSlotsList.aggressiveJoin true

I tried it through Procon console and got an OK.
Haven't had a chance to test it, but that server is dead as of tomorrow.

Have you been using the procon plugin that keeps one slot (or more) available on the server at all times? This Plugin?
