We are going to deploy a new gameserver for PC during the day. This will not cause any downtime for you either on Battlelog, Origin or any other systems.
The RSP´s will gradually roll out the new gameserver update so you will still be able to play on your favorite servers. There are no gameplay fixes in this update and this doesn´t require any update to your client.
Notes:
The server will automatically delete very small pbns.dat files during startup. This will resolve a recent problem where some corrupted PunkBuster server installations did not work properly.
Added protection against a malformed UDP packet attack that previously could be used to crash servers.

kalms is unfortunately mistaken about us being able to do a gradual update -- we'll have to force it on everyone all at once, instead, because of the files that were updated. We will have to do this early Friday morning. We will post an event with more information.
