We currently are running a map list that includes Armored Kill and Aftermath in the rotation. At low populations we run just Vanilla maps that are included in the base game. We have had reports of people being unable to join when the Vanilla rotation was active. We have also had reports that People with Armored Kill were unable to join while an Armored kill map was playing in the Full map rotation.
Shouldn't anyone be able to join while the Vanilla rotation is active? Also, should they be able to join during the Full map rotation as long as they have the map that is currently active, or do they need to have the expansions for all the maps in the rotation?
Thanks,

Re: Question about Expansion packs
If I remember correctly if the server has DLC in the map rotation a player must have all of the DLC to be able to join it, even if it is running stock maps.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Re: Question about Expansion packs
Thanks,
So I assume that if we are running with just Stock Vanilla maps in the rotation, then anyone with Battlefield 3 should be able to join.

Re: Question about Expansion packs
Vanderburg, that is not correct. Our map cycler puts example maps in so that the browser will work correctly.
purebattlefield, yes, that should normally be the case.
