Yogscast Complete Pack Server Installation

Post by ryanv64089 »

Looking for a bit of help here. I have installed the complete back on the ATL Launcher, I can play and launch the game. I've copied the pack files and transferred them over to the server. I copied the forge-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-universal.jar file from "/jarmods" and placed it into the server root folder. When I select the .jar file in CP and reboot it, it just crashes, I cannot get it to load. I have tried the .jar file with a few different minecraft versions with no luck. It seems the mods load when I go back to the vanilla jar file; but I have no access to anything, it just says the item does not exist.

I'm pretty stumped, this is basically the same process I've used when installed Tekkit which I've had no issues with. I've tried searching for Readme's and installation wiki's with no luck. Maybe it's just me but I think it's pretty that the dev's have no guide for installation what's so ever...That's poor development. Any help would be appreciated.

To clarify here, what jar files are available when you first unzip the files?

The only .jar file available to me is;

forge-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-universal.jar

Well then that definitely would be the file you are needing to run, just make sure all of the other files are copied over properly before running the server.

Here's some more info. This was directly from the MC server log

We appear to be missing one or more essential library files.
You will need to add them to your server before FML and Forge will run successfully.

The issue for this is that required libraries aren't being properly downloaded in the same way that they would in a regular, unrestricted Linux environment. These library files will need to be manually added.

We see this semi-frequently, actually, and reference it here: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... 052#p56451

Hmm I'm still having the same issue. Server just seems to lock up.

The Yogscast complete pack is supposed to me compatible with MC version 1.6.4 correct?

What is the Tekkit mod compatible with?

I have solved this for you, although I am not sure of an alternative method. I downloaded the Yogscast pack to my unmanaged machine and ran it as you regularly would, and it automatically downloaded the proper library files. I have copied them over for you, and you should just be able to unzip the file I am linking and place it in your server directory. http://70.42.74.226/minecraft/YogscastP ... -18-14.zip
