Minecraft installation error

Sup everyone,

I'm currently trying to install a minecraft server on a VPS and I can't get past this error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 window server using ':0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

I've tried many methods but always get the same error.

Such methods include:
export DISPLAY=:0.0

Java Installed:

root@egcvps:~# java -version
java version "1.7.0_75"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.5.4) (7u75-2.5.4-1~utopic1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.75-b04, mixed mode)

Issue was fixed,

The installation file was incorrect

If you're having similar issues, reload the minecraft server
