Tekkit Legends Server Crashing

Post by jackalro »

I've recently uploaded Tekkit Legends to my server via FTP after following NFO's instructions, unfortunately the server crashes whenever I attempt to switch to creative mode. The server I'm renting uses 2gb of RAM. Is 2 gigs enough to run this mod pack?

Good day!

The ideal amount of ran to run any heavily demanding mod packs should have around 4 Gbs of Ram. Always check the recommended resources to give to the server. With 4Gbs & as long as the world is fully rendered, you should have no problem! Make sure all the plugins are compatible and don't conflict with anything in the mod pack by default!

Do keep in mind, it will run with atleast 1 Gig of ram min - but if your aiming for performance & low chances of running into crashing, consider upping your reserve for ram! I ran a very popular gaming network for awhile and we had 16GBs each & ran 8 dedicated servers separately. 16Gbs is a little overkill but we never had downtime in the years we were active!
Anyways, if you have any further questions related to this genre, please feel free to direct message or reply!

Best of luck to you!
