New Mine Craft Server!

Post by kraze »

Just started my own MC server and was wondering if anyone can recommend any good mods/plugins. This server is just for me and my buddies so no need for anything drastic. I was mostly looking at a mod where we can type "!give blah" and get it. Anyone know of any good ones?

We're still using 1.5 server and clients until all the brokenness is fixed.

Oh and to answer your question, You'd want to hook yourself up with bukkit and either the Essentials plugin or the CommandBook plugin. Either one of those will give you a /give command where you can give yourself any number of all the blocks/items.

Got bukkit and found me a give plugin. However I might switch as I do not like it so much.

The "general" plugins like Essentials and CommandBook will give you fancy things like /time (Keep it day) and warps and whatnot. What are you using? Is it just a "give" plugin?

Any of you guys know of a good mine cart plugin for bukkit? One that has boosters and so on?

Maybe those, we personally just use the boosters included in the game, what ever floats your boat though. :D

Ahhh, he also made them about 12% faster in patch 1.6 also. From what I've read you want like 2 or 3 to start going, than 1 booster track every 25 normal track to stay at top speed.
