There really isn't any one specific laptop I would recommend for this, but anything with 4 gigs of ram or higher and a decent dual core CPU should do just fine. What program you use to do the recording can also make a large difference. Personally I prefer Open Broadcaster Software to do my own recording, but that is because I usually stream as well. There are many options available and you should play around with them to see which one works best for you.
