minecraft server after the PC

I want to model my minecraft server after the PC mod for Arma II, DayZ. I need to change it so the zombies wont die in the daylight or make it always nighttime or overcast so they can survive. I also need to randomize the spawn points to prevent spawn killing or maybe make the new spawns invincible for a short time? Any help would be much appreciated. And just for clarification, I already have the server I'm not asking for help setting it up, just making these adjustments.
