Mindcrack/FTB Ultimate Installation Question

We recently moved over from Multiplay Game Servers here to NFO as our new main hosting company for all our community needs; and I just had some questions regarding the setup of these modpacks here at NFO via the Control Panel.

I had downloaded the latest server packs for each and then uploaded them to the FTP provided; right in the root and then changed the .jar file via the Control Panel and attempt to start the server. However, it seems that the server just instantly crashes.

Am I going about it wrong, or missing some vital steps?

I pretty much wiped the FTP folder clean; and uploaded only the "MindCrack_Server" files; and I did the same for FTB Ultimate... but can't seem to get it started yet.

A normal vanilla server will start/load fine.

Looks like I might have figured out my own issue; by switching my FTP Client (FileZilla) from 'Auto' to 'Binary' transfer.
