In the A2S_INFO query(if you use that) it responds with current bots in-game. Is there a way the control panel can account for this?
Our TF2 server runs 6 bots when nobody is playing(I know we can configure them to only join when a player joins) and for this reason, our daily server restart won't happen because the utility thinks bots are players.
When a TF2 server stays up alot with no map changes(ex a 24/7 map server) the server stutters alot(not any indication in net_graph or anything else, just stutters when walking/playing) and I would like the automated restart to work because of this.
I have disabled the forced restart if players are in the server, because the uptime before it stutters is around 3,000(just over 2 days) so chances are it will be empty at one point for the server to reboot.

Re: Detect bots?
There isn't a way to see which players are bots through the query, no.
You might consider using the scheduled restart option on the "Server control" page, if the other restarting option doesn't fit your needs.
