Should my L4D server qualify for private status and cost?
Greetings! My L4D server doesn't use a password, because L4D doesn't respect passwords. However, it is steam group exclusive which means that only people on the "list" can start games on the server. That really is the equivalent of "private" in other games. Should I qualify for private pricing?

Right now the system only recognizes the use of sv_password to determine if a server is locked and private. L4D had some problems with sv_password when it first came out, but I believe these problems were resolved and the option works properly now.
sv_steamgroup_exclusive won't make your server private, because once the server has players in it, the public is able to join. A closer analog would be sv_search_key, which restricts whether a server can be found from the lobby. Unfortunately, both of these are buggy in the current version of L4D and stop working after the server has been running for a little while.
