Hi there! I'm asking a question on behalf of our gaming community, Gamerscoalition.com. We're thinking of getting another NFO server, but would like to know if COD4 supports reserved slots functionality.

CoD4's reserved slot system is done through private slots, sv_privateclients and sv_privatePassword.

Basically you want a 16 slot server, but want 2 reserved slots, so you order a 18 slot server, set sv_privateclients 2 in the server.cfg and set a sv_privatepassword. You connect to the server using the private password and you'll be able to join a server thats full at 16/16 and it will become 17/17.

Hope that explains CoD4's system.

There isn't much right now as its a new game, most things are in a limited capacity. Most people are using HLSW remotely and rcon in game.
