Ya...

I sure hope that Modern Warfare 3 puts the series back on track. I am not a big BF fan even though the new one looks amazing. It is hard enough to find a good game to play..

Could not agree more on the good game to play front. Which is why I got L.A. Noire [PS3]. [Beat it as well.] I hope if it does not put them on track, it brings good gameplay at the very least. I truly do hope to see what was implemented in Black Ops, but done properly. Also a proper storyline this go around, one that seriously will rival a movie script. That is what I believe they need to not only have the multiplayer front locked, but also have people recommend it to those whom love to actually game.

Yea. I will admit the MW2 and Black Ops single player was decently good. I personally like Bo or MW2 but they were good. However IMO their just to short. 6 hours to beat the story on hard is just to short.

That is another reason I did not bother to play the single player campaigns. Way too quick.

I truly do not expect anything less from them anymore. They have not shocked me as a company for years.

Call of Duty series has a way of getting everyone ready for a new game then they make it horrible. Black Ops is a great example. They have released 9 patches for the game not including small live fixes. Game for me still runs like crap. Hard for me to pull over 100ish FPS. Game doesn't feel smooth, menu still locks up and so on.

From what I have seen is that Infinity ward has a way of doing things with their games that make them feel smooth. COD4 is a fantastic example. MW2 is a good one also. Even though the lack of dedicated servers and what not. It still runs smooth.

They are also trying to release a pay to play Call of Duty like EA did with Battle Field play for free.

Still, there’s a silver lining. It looks as though Black Ops’ controversial tactical nuke that would instantly end a multiplayer game if one player got too many consecutive kills will be removed for Modern Warfare 3. Read on for a list of the new perks and kill streaks leaked to Kotaku.
That was in MW2. [Just played BO yesterday to relieve some stress on some bots.] I also do not see the purpose in everyone hyping the hell out of it, if it turns to be a dud, judging by the lack of ded server support, it might be. I see no true purpose to be so excited. :-/
