Yup I had the same problem. I removed ChickenMOD (wasn't installed right...wouldn't work) and as far as I know the problem is fixed.

I THINK I fixed it. Keyword being "THINK". I removed the antiflood and listen plugin from the plugins.ini and it seems to be fixed.

I removed every single plugin I installed! Now you can't tell me it's a plugin problem. Here are 3 screenshots that I was able to get:

Lets see snice the HL launcher that you are useing is crashing then why not try useing HL/CS without

As you have show us yuo have three good reasons to either find another one or not use one

ummm that is regular HL it's just what XP calls it. Also I fixed this a few weeks ago. I believe there is a post with the fix in this section.

OH and thanks I love tweaking me CS.

its the knifekill.cfg within statsme that is crashing hl.exe or cstrike.exe

refer to my other post if you wish to have the file to fix
