Amx or Admin?

Hi im new to the forums and some friends and I are going to rent out a server but we don't know anything about admin commands and stuff.... What would you reccomend we get(keeping in mind that we are noobs about this stuff), Amx or admin mod?

Adminmod if you want basic control of the server, nothing really customized or fancy "fun" type of plugins.

Amxmodx if you want to run some advanced custom mods like CSDM, more fun types of plugins and use a menu system.

A friend said you can run them both, is this true? if it is, wouldn't it be best just to use both of them? Also, is amx mod make it so that at the end of a round it shows how many kills, hits... you got? lol thanks for the help, we have everything ready except for which one (or both) we are using

You can if you wish, just keep in mind that the less plugins the better. Everything adminmod does, amxmodx does too (may require a custom plugin to add that functionality).

Amxmodx does have stats built into it, or you could run statsme.
