wad

ill put a map on my server the wad on the front page of the cstrike ill change the map and when people go to get on it it will say error couldnt find wad whatever and you guys say that its because i dont have the wad file but i do so what is wrong

so i decide if my cstrike couldnt get the wad file from the server id just give dl the wad file again and put it on my cstrike and it worked but how do i make it so other people can dl the wad file from the server

well this has happened on a couple maps i dl them put them on the server and the server just inst sending the files to the people is there something wrong with the files or the server?

idk tho because if you put the files in your cstrike yourself they work

Wads do not download from the game server automatically. This is something Valve did and the only way to get around that is to create res files to force the clients to download the wad. You can read up on that on our tutorial here.
