How can i get more traffic into server?

Yes i know this is a slightly odd question to ask. But its so odd, i get lots of traffic yet no one really stays, no regulars. I was wondering maybe how can i further improve traffic, any ideas? Thanks

fakefull, makes fake spectatores and kicks them when players join. so far ive had my new server like 2 weeks and theres constant regulars and its always full (of real people). if that doesnt work you servers noob

The only thing I can think of is having something like a Last Man Standing event.. That normally draws hoards... :

fakefull works great....I tried with and without....Much more traffic with it.

We used fakefull on the community servers about a year ago when they switched IPs, because everyone seems to lose track of a server when its IP changes and we weren't showing up on people's lists with an empty server. It was fairly effective, and we were able to turn it off after a couple of months.

I just downloaded fakefull,now how do I install it? didn't come with a read me file

It's not an mod officially supported by us, but you should be able to just upload it to the server and add a line for it in addons/metamod/plugins.ini.

upload it to your server

to make it easy just put it in this folder

addons/adminmod/dlls (use amx where adminmod is if you use amx)

then like edge said, again, edit this file

addons/metamod/plugins.ini

include this line

win32 addons/adminmod/dlls/fakefull_mm.dll (again use amx where adminmod is if you use amx)

now open up your server.cfg

add a the following line

exec fakefull.cfg

That should make it work for ya. Good luck.

ppsssstttt... (use fakefull-pro) add exec fakefull.cfg to server.cfg, add win32 addons/fakefull/dlls/fakefull_mm.dll to metamod.ini and FTP them both.
