HLTV voces record?

Hello, i want to know how can the hltv can record the voices in a scrim setting up record mix and records the sounds, but dosen't record the voices.

I'm not finding anything that allows this. In fact, it actually looks like it is not possible since HLTV is in the server as a spectator, and spectators cannot hear voice chat of active players unless alltalk is on. Most players don't like alltalk on in a scrim.

You could record a demo locally and pick up the voice chat for your team, but that wouldn't allow you to change views like HLTV does.

Are you sure they were recorded with HLTV and not something else? If so, they may have done something with the game server itself to allow it.

That looks like their was another program recording the Ventrilo voices or Teamspeak recording then they just lined it up with the video. If you watch the video really closely you can see a little bit of delay between the mic button and the actual sound. This could mean improper timing when the voice was added over.

I saw that post yesterday as well, kraze. It sounds like (as TimeX said) sv_alltalk needs to be enabled for voices to be recorded, which definitely isn't something that you'd want in a match/scrim. I agree with you that any videos that you see of matches likely are edited to splice in separately recorded audio.
