how I can install amx on my server

Usually we have autoinstallers for amxmodx however it has been broken since the last game update and we are still waiting for them to release an update for amx that we can use. You can try installing it manually but I have not heard of anyone having any luck with that. Most folks are just waiting it out for the update.

Im currently using the latest snapshot... 1.8.3 hg83.....give it a try...appears stable

Siren's information is a bit old. The latest snapshot should indeed work. Note that Metamod-P might cause problems (it does not work properly on Linux, for instance), so you may also need to switch to standard Metamod through the "Server control" page when you upload the latest AMXx snapshot.

for linux metamod 1.20 appears to be working

get the amxmodx installer and just enter your ftp information into the installer. the metamod-p works with that.
