Ts admin status settings

Post by davidsimmonsnm »

Is there a script that i can quickly use to take someones' admin status away in the console ?

Or how to set up a server with limited admin status for each individual - I do not have super admin on my server rented from NFO just console or what ever you may call it.

I had my server wiped and now looking for ways to better control it.

The best way would be to make separate "server admin" groups for your server. Each with their own set of permissions.

duh , I was looking for some help from someone that works at NFO . I need credible info not just make separate groups I know that.

But when you don not have super admin on your rented server you just have a VM, you can restart it and things like that but you do not have control of the files and logs ect.

You should have a server admin account to log into with to administrate your TS3.
Don't know why you are not provide it.

Do they allow you to setup server admins in the control panel?

Creating a group to grant lower permissions to a subset of users is definitely the way to go.

We can't give out superadmin privileges to customers for obvious reasons, but we give full access to everything about the server, apart from a few clear items, to the admin account that you are given. This allows you to set it up however you'd like, with whatever groups and permissions you'd like.
