Ventrillo Server Admin question

Hi all, I've been on vent, TS etc.a ton but have never admin'd one and don't really know the first thing about that so when we want to login as admin, what PW do we use, the rcon or which other? Thanks in advance,

That's correct. We saw too much abuse with this, unfortunately, and had to disable it.

The main server admin password is the one specified on the "Easy setup" page in your control panel here.

As for the pw, I'm using the rcon pw but it's not working, thanks for your patience John...

If you changed the admin password since, have you also restarted the server since then? The change will not take effect until after a restart, which can be done through the "Server control" page.

I have it now, for whatever reason the "Basic server settings" info screen wasn't appearing for me but now it is, thanks a bunch.

Good Lord, when I was clicking between the Game and Vent servers, I was in the basic tabs (Game) and once in the Vent I interpreted the tabs as still with the Game server, now I feel like a total tool now Thanks Edge, I'm lovin' it now and awesome service my friend

One more thing, I can't seem to create channels, Lobby, BC2 Rush etc etc, unless I'm overlooking something which at this point I'm sure I am, thanks.

No error, just no option for instance, "Create Channel" or something similar...

Also, I'm trying to create a unique login, as per the vent docs under "Log In/ Logout" section for myself as Server Admin but having difficulties with that, it's a work in progress...

I think I have a handle on the creating channel but still trying to make a unique login for myself as Server Admin, thanks for all the time Edge.
