i have a question about server functionality for BFBC2. in addition to the large scale rush/conquest game modes, there will be 1 on 1 squad deathmatches and such.
i'm renting a 32 player BFBC2 server...will i be able to host 1v1 squad deathmatches on the same server? or 4v4s will require a completely separate server?

I'm guessing that you'll be able to use your 32-slot server for any game type you'd like, but I'm not certain. I will have to ask about this.

Are any of the beta servers setup for Hardcore at NFO? My group would like to try out that style of game play and, we are biased about playing on NFO only servers

Hardcore is something that has to be set manually after each server restart, right now.
I've manually attempted to set it on our Chicago #8 server -- please give it a go
