Crysis2 coming to NFO March 22nd?

I see NFO is on the list of providers for Crysis 2 dedicated servers, will we be able to add this add to our managed dedicated? Any info on allowable slots yet?

I have not heard anything about this yet. However I am sure if NFO is on the list John has already worked out something with the company.

When(if) the game becomes available to NFO you should be able to host it on your managed machine as long as your machine says managed!

Yes, you will be able to add these servers to a managed VDS/machine here. I can't yet release further information on the game due to NDA, but they should be releasing further details soon .

Do you know if Crysis 2 will be released as a stand alone dedicated server, as the previous Crysis games were? Or is this going to be another EA gotcha where only TGSP's can have the server files and we have to pay for an additional server?

I would really hate to have to scratch this from the list of games we will support. Since I ordered my own dedi box, I would like to be able to run it as I see fit, just as before.

Sim, they replied that servers can't be rented for the demo.

TacTicToe, I haven't heard official word on that yet, but I believe that I read they will be supporting modding, which would require releasing the dedicated server to the public. I don't know if the public one would support ranked mode or not.
