Issues with my TTT Server

Post by InternationalGamERay »

Hello. I currently am running a TTT server. It's brand new.
I'm having some issues.
We have custom player models but they always disappear upon being killed or falling to death.

Another issue is the ForceDownload. It doesn't work and we don't know how to get it working.

I am also looking for a scoreboard that can have custom name tags that you can change. I'm not sure what it's called and I really liked it on my last server I played on. Please help!

thank you for reading.

The issue with player models disappearing is a known bug, but nothing has been done to fix it. You may try contacting Garry about this issue.

NFO has a great guide on how to setup fast downloads, available here: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =65&t=7337

As far as a scoreboard is concerned, I use this one and find it very easy to setup: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1356376

I know i am a bit late for this.I too have the playermodel disappear on death issue but to make them appear correctly to people in the PS or when equipped and runing around(aka force download) you have to go into lua/autorun/server and edit workshop.lua.within the workshop .lua you must add this line resource.AddWorkshop("Workshop item ID here") if i was going to add ttt_bb_teenroom_b2 to the server it would look like this resource.AddWorkshop("141103402") You must do that line in workshop.lua for every workshop model, swep, and map you add.If you don't do it for maps a new player joining will return an error "Missing map (map name here)".You can also set it up via fastDL as well but it's a little more complicated than this way.Sorry for necroing the thread but no one else replied with more info and figured this may help you a bit.As for disappearing playermodels i have yet to find a fix for that.
