How does one setup FastDL for a new Garrysmod Server?

Brand new server owner. Been told I need to setup fastDL for my new server.

Complete scrub. A solid in-depth explanation or a point to a good tutorial would be appreciated.

That isn't even FastDL, that is the Garry's Mod Workshop, so that tutorial is not relevant in this case. NFO also makes it very easy to setup FastDL on their game servers, if that is what you have purchased. You should be able to find a Websync tab in your control panel under the game server that you have rented. From there you can check the box to sync the files every day and then press the button to sync it currently.
